Grooveline

Grooveline is a free Audio/Video broadcast platform dedicated to streaming live events and shows from all over the world.

Formerly a record shop, opened in 2001 in an upfront city-mall in Baixa-Chiado at the heart of the historic Lisbon city-center.

Soon it began broadcasting live audio and video shows from a studio within the store with a daily playlist of DJs gathering visibility from both shoppers and web users keen on the wide dance music spectrum and talent of the collaborating people.

Grooveline opens a space intended for music to grow and evolve as an accessible platform that welcomes new artists and their talents, projects and influences.

“Artistic economy demands that the means be appropriate to the end, and that the exploitation of the means be an end in itself.”
Koenig, G. M
